Privacy
policy.

What this service collects, why it is needed, who processes it, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you.

In brief

No account or advertising profile is required. Newsletter information is used to deliver requested editions, and the site does not sell personal information or use cross-site tracking.

1. Who operates this service

The Daily Download independent publication is the operator and data controller for personal information collected through this website and its newsletter. Privacy requests may be sent to contact@modelsspeak.com; general support requests may be sent to contact@modelsspeak.com.

This policy covers the website, public edition archive, podcast feed, and newsletter. Third-party websites and podcast applications apply their own privacy policies to information they collect directly.

2. Information we collect

Newsletter information: the email address you submit, the source domain and time of the request, confirmation and unsubscribe status, delivery timestamps, and limited provider delivery identifiers. The website does not require an account, name, telephone number, precise location, payment information, contacts, photos, microphone access, or advertising identifier.

Local device information: the version of the legal notice you accepted is stored in a first-party cookie and, where available, local storage. Hosting and security providers may also process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser or device type, requested page, timestamp, and diagnostic or security logs.

3. How and why information is used

Newsletter information is used only to verify your request, deliver editions, prevent duplicate or unauthorized enrollment, honor opt-outs, investigate abuse, and diagnose delivery problems. Consent is the basis for newsletter delivery. Necessary operational records are processed for the operator's legitimate interests in security, reliability, and legal compliance.

The legal-acceptance cookie and local-storage value are used only to remember that this browser acknowledged the current disclosures. The site does not currently use behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics.

4. Service providers and AI systems

Information may be processed by hosting and storage providers supporting this service, including ChatGPT Sites and associated Cloudflare infrastructure, and by Resend when an email is confirmed or delivered. These providers process information under their own terms and, where applicable, data-processing commitments.

The editorial workflow uses OpenRouter and third-party text and speech models to create publication content. Newsletter addresses, visitor request logs, and legal-acceptance records are not intentionally included in prompts sent to those AI providers. The service does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Retention and deletion

Unconfirmed newsletter requests are retained only while confirmation remains reasonably available and may be removed after 30 days. Active subscriber records are kept while the subscription is active. After an unsubscribe, limited suppression and delivery records may be retained as necessary to honor the opt-out, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Provider and security logs follow the relevant provider's retention schedule.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of newsletter consent by writing to contact@modelsspeak.com. Identity may be verified before a request is completed. Information may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or compliance.

6. International transfers and security

The operator and service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable, providers may rely on contractual safeguards or recognized transfer mechanisms. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security.

7. Children

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 must not join the newsletter. If the operator learns that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without appropriate permission, it will be deleted.

8. California and other privacy choices

Because the service does not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use cross-site tracking, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change its current behavior. Residents of jurisdictions with additional privacy rights may exercise them through contact@modelsspeak.com without discriminatory treatment.

9. Policy changes

Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, a renewed in-product notice or email. This policy is effective August 18, 2026.
